Detailed description:

A PIECE OF STARGATE HISTORY! The Stargate SG-1 studio recently replaced the original 'iris' that was installed in the Stargate at SGC as it became damaged. The iris is actually a large (15') piece of canvas that has been painted in gray to illustrate the iris 'shutters'.

We managed to save this historic piece of the Stargate and have developed a presentation that will be a great collectible for all Stargate fans.

The presentation consists of a 5" laser-etched 'Stargate' which has a section of the original iris mounted at the back. Together, they have been mounted on a rich black suede matte with an engraved nameplate to an 8x10 size ready for framing We have designed this display in a '3D' format which means you can frame it without glass, enabling you to touch the iris section.

You have seen this iris many times, in many episodes all the way back to Season 1, and is truly a wonderful piece of real Stargate memorabilia!
