Why are you no longer using Paypal?
At the time of writing, Paypal (a US company) are charging excessive fees for the transfer of funds into our Canadian bank account. Specifically, Paypal are not acknowledging that the Canadian dollar is now virtually at par with the US dollar and transaction fees for Canadian companies are almost double that of US merchants - even though it should be less based upon current exchange rates.

All orders are invoiced in Canadian dollars but unless we initiate various complex administration changes, Paypal will only collect that same amount in US dollars - without making an allowance for the exchange rate. Until we see Paypal adopt a more equitable program, we have elected not to use their system. We apologize for any inconvenience but please note that we do accept major credit cards through our secure online checkout system.

Is your payment system secure?
Yes, we have a secure 'SSL' site and all credit card orders are processed directly by the Moneris credit card gateway - they are not entered into our system.
